Indenture of sale between William Tusser and Thomas Bulbeck, gentleman, of Wolfreston alias Wolverston, Suffolk, esquire, on the one part, and Thomas Gawdy of Claxton, Norfolk, justice of the King's Bench, on the other part. Acknowledgement by Tusser and Bulbeck of receipt of £1200 in hand, parcel of £2400, agreed for the bargain and sale to Gawdy the manor of Wolfreston alias Wolverstone with appurtenances in Suffolk, and all other manors, lands, etc in Chelmondiston [?Chempton], Freston, Holbrook and Shotley or any other towns in the hundred of Sampford which Bulbeck or Fielding lately purchased of them, to be held in fee simple at an annual rent of £100. This agreement voids all similar former agreements between the parties over the same property.
Endorsed with an agreement that the indenture also relates to the land meadow and pasture occupied by Trusser, but also the advowsons of the places mentioned, and the land occupied by several tenants there named (with the acreages they occupy).
