Indenture between Thomas Coniers of East Barnet, Hertfordshire, on the one part, and William Pert the elder of Arnoldes in the parish of Mountnessing [Mountneasinge], Essex, on the other part. In consideration of the natural love, favour and affection that Thomas Coniers has for Margaret Pert his grandchild, and only child of William Pert the younger (son and heir apparent of William Pert the elder and Isabel late wife of William Pert the younger, and daughter of Thomas Coniers), for her marriage and for the sum of £2000 paid by Coniers to Pert, settlement of the site, manor and appurtenances of Saxilby, Lincolnshire, late possessions of Francis Norton attainted of treason and late occupied by William Clodd.
