Description

Indented inquisition post mortem of John Hurst of Exeter, mercer, taken at Crediton on 11 January 1553. Hurst held the manor of East Wonford and land and messuages in Heavitree, East Wonford, and South Wonford, Devon. Hurst died 12 December 1552, and William is his son and heir, aged 6 years, 8 months and 3 days at the date of the inquisition.
