Description

Indenture between William Budder of London, gentleman, on the one part, and Robert Kay of Clapham, Bedfordshire, gentleman, on the other part, for Robert Kay to pay to William Budder and Mary, his wife, £60 within the following 90 days, in fulfilment of an indenture of a bargain and sale dated 23 May 1588 by William Budder to John Mills of Gray's Inn, Middlesex, gentleman, of his right title to land, wood, meadow and pasture called Clapham Park and Bales Wood in the parish of Clapham, Bedfordshire, an indented lease dated 2 December 1587, and a recognisance of £500 acknowledged in Chancery by Thomas Roe of Clapham, Bedfordshire, gentleman, and William Budder, dated 6 December 1587 at Westminster, whereby William Budder has appointed John Mills, gentleman, as his attorney.

[Endorsed] Sealed and delivered in the presence of John Palton, 'Lydury' Tamworthe and Thomas Goodrich.
