Description

Counties: Berkshire, Kintbury Eagle and Ock hundreds; and Oxfordshire Grant descriptions and dates: five subsidies granted by Parliament 1628 June 16 x 29 and another four subsidies granted by Parliament 1640 Dec 10 - 23 and another two subsidies granted by Parliament 1625 June 30 or later Document description: Certificates of non-distraint, affidavits of non-distraint, certificate of exemption and constat, bundle of 12 mems. Includes a constat, giving details of an order issued by the court of the Exchequer on Thursday 3 July 1628, concerning a manor called Cannon End in Caversham, further property in Mapledurham, both in Oxfordshire, and three messuages in Reading, Berkshire.
