Description

County: Devon, Haytor hundred.

Document description: Assessment (individuals), 1 mem. Includes names of individuals. Part of an individual assessment for Paignton parish for an early seventeenth century subsidy. The signature of the collector Edward Seymour is the same as those in E 179/102/472 (the first payment of the subsidy granted in 1610) and E 179/101/450 (the second payment of the 1610 subsidy). Approximately fifty names and assessments are legible.
