Hearth tax exemption certificates for Middlesex (47 certificates in 239 folios), the city of London (9 certificates) and Norfolk (506 certificates in 528 folios), with some stray certificates for Newport, Isle of Wight, Hampshire (41 certificates) and other counties (Dorset, Essex, Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Somerset, Suffolk and Yorkshire); hearth tax schedules of arrears and abstracts of account for Monmouthshire, Brecknockshire and Radnorshire (72 folios) and Canterbury, Kent (2 folios); and completely stray documents unrelated to the hearth tax, ranging in date from 1642 to 1757.
