Document description: Assessment (individuals) and certificate of assessment for the first collection, roll of 3 mems. Includes names of individuals County was divided into east, west plus town of Northampton, each with own high collector, E 179/156/218 for the town; E 179/156/217 rot 1 for composition of eastern division. Five rolls survive for first payment in east: present piece, E 179/156/217, E 179/156/220, E 179/156/223, E 179/156/239; roll for Willybrook missing, cf E 179/156/229. All three rolls made for west survive: E 179/156/219, E 179/156/221 (incomplete), E 179/156/222. Total for west on dorse of E 179/156/219.
