Description

County: Buckinghamshire, Ixhill, Aylesbury, Ashendon, and Chiltern hundreds Document description: Assessments (individuals), assessments (communal), certificates of assessment and ?wrapper, roll of 12 rots.

Includes names of individuals A variety of fragmentary pieces from different documents.

Rot 1 is from the particulars of account for a fifteenth century fifteenth and tenth. Virtually illegible, the area covered runs from the end of the assessment for Waddesdon hundred through to Desborough hundred, or possibly Stoke hundred.

Rot 2 is part of a roll giving the individual assessment for a seventeenth century subsidy, covering the three hundreds of Ashendon.

Rots 3 and 4 are parts of a roll giving the individual assessment for a sixteenth century subsidy, covereding the three hundreds of Ashendon.

Rot 5 is part of a roll giving the individual assessment for a seventeenth century subsidy, covering the three hundreds of Chiltern.

Rot 6 is part of the certificate of assessment for the third collection in the three hundreds of Chiltern for the five subsidies granted in 1628.

Rot 7 is part of a roll giving an individual assessment for a seventeenth century subsidy:, without place-names, but may belongs with rot. 6.
