Description

Propaganda to enemy and neutral countries: enquiry by War Policy Committee. War Policy Committee Enquiry into Propaganda to Enemy and Neutral Countries. This Parliamentary committee was chaired by Sir John Wardlaw-Milne and looked into pre-war German socialists and communists. The file focuses on a pre-war pamphlet called 'The Coming of Warld War' associated with the Neu Beginnen movement.

Note

This catalogue description was enhanced in 2018 as a result of a project led by Professor Simon Eliot (University of London) and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). The project was entitled 'Make Do and Mend: A Publishing History of the Ministry of Information, 1939-1946'.
