Description

Captured ship: Johanna og Maria (master Hans Kroyer), a Danish East India merchant ship, taken off Dungeness on 20 May 1799; ships's books and papers etc as follows

'Nos 1-23, 26-29, 31-56, 58-68'

  • including 50 printed Dutch East India Company [VOC] instructions and templates or example books, 1751-1794;
  • 'no 26' consumption list for the packet boat De Ster, 1793;
  • 'no 65' instructions for carers for the sick, 1794;
  • 'no 66' ship's disciplinary council;
  • 'no 144' cash book 'Cassa Bog for Expeditionen' Johanna og Maria, 1796-1797;
  • 'no 145' cash book 'Cassa Bog' Captain Hans Kroyer, 1789-1790;
  • 'no 150' navigational workings, 1796;
  • 'no 165' personal log for the Bellona, 1792-1793.
