Captured ship: Sjælland or Scielland, a Danish ship from the East Indies taken at the Cape of Good Hope, 8 Feb 1798, by the fleet led by HMS Tremendous.
Papers of George August Dossit D'Alban, from previous ships on which he served (Cornelia (1785), Zeebouwer (1792), D'Enigheid (1794), St Laurens (1795), including ship's books, an examination paper, private notes, letters. Some printed material including some from the Houghly Hospital [Calcutta].
