History: a French merchant ship, bound from Le Cayes, Saint Domingue to Bordeaux.
Documents: Correspondence from Saint Domingue (principally Les Cayes) to France, including a small number of ship's own papers and letters to a crew member.
Also contains copies of La Gazette des Cayes:
- 1792: numbers 77, 80-103 (27 Sept - 30 Dec).
- 1793: numbers 25, 27, 28, 31, 35, 37 (27 Mar - 09 May).
