Description

This piece contains material relating to two main subject areas:

  • Correspondence and bills of exchange from merchants in New York to merchants in France.
  • Papers relating to St Domingue. Includes personal papers of a Julien Bonnet of Geneva (resident on St Domingue) and numerous printed pamphlets discussing the political situation in both Saint Domingue and France.
