Mesopotamia River Operations, 1914-1917, Part III, maps.

Report compiled in 1919 by Captain Wilfrid Nunn CB, CSI, CMG, DSO, RN.

This report on naval co-operation with the Expeditionary Force in Mesopotamia covers the period from just before the outbreak of war with Turkey in 1914 until shortly after the capture of Baghdad in 1917.

The Report is in three parts as follows: Part I: Reports - ADM 137/204; Part II: Appendices - ADM 137/205; Part III: Maps - ADM 137/206.

Some maps are bound into Part I (see ADM 137/204) and Part II (see ADM 137/205) and others are filed in Part III (ADM 137/206 this volume) as noted below.

1. Sketch map to illustrate 'Euphrates Blockade' operations by the Intelligence Branch, General Staff, IEF. 'D', dated 10 April 1915.

2. Country around Zubair and Shaiba.

3. Map serial number 18, 3rd S and M Field Litho of Kurna and district corrected to 30 April 1915 by the Intelligence Branch, General Staff, I.E.F. 'D', dated 22 April 1915.
