Medical and surgical journal of HMS Success for 12 June to 28 October 1840 by J J W Roberts, Assistant Surgeon, during which time the said ship was employed in raising the Royal George. (Described at item level). Also contains detailed notes of diving operations carried out by engineers under the command of Colonel Charles Pasley, Royal Engineers, on the wreck of HMS Royal George, sunk at Spithead in 1782.
