ADM 101/106/4
1812-1814
Medical and surgical journal of His Majesty's Lion for 29 January 1813 to [29th] January 1814 by John Tweedy Todd, Surgeon, during which time the said ship was employed at the Cape of Good Hope. (Described at item level).
The journal itself takes the form of case by case entries but the first 11 folios are taken up with observations on the climate of the Cape of Good Hope, with sixteen tables comparing it's climate with that of other places and various other measurements. The observations appear to be for January to December 1812. Folios 12 to 14 are blank and the medical cases start on folio 15.
