Description

Medical and surgical journal of HMS Isis for 17 February 1805 to 16 February 1806 by Benjamin Lara, Surgeon, during which time the said ship was employed in the North Sea, and on the Newfoundland Station. (Described at item level). Includes notes on the case of a seaman who swallowed fourteen clasp knives.
