Folios 7-8: Summaries of letters dated 29 April, 7 May, 22 May, 26 May 1823, sent by John Campbell, Major Commandant, 29 April 1823, Garrison at Ascension.

Folios 9-10: Letter by John Thompson, assistant surgeon, of the Garrison at Ascension, 5 August 1823, Island of Ascension.

Folios 11-12: a numerical return of the sick and wounded of HMS Bann employed on the coast of Africa, 22 March-2 June 1823 together with general remarks about some of the medical cases by Alex Stewart, surgeon, HM Sloop Bann, 2 June 1823, Island of Ascension.
