Medical and surgical journal of HM male convict ship Lady Harewood from 20 February to 17 August 1832 by John Inches, surgeon and superintendent, during which time the said ship was employed in a voyage to Sydney.
Folio 1: List of food and drink received from Mr R W Stonehouse, master of the Lady Harewood and expended during the voyage; 16 bottles of port wine; six pounds of preserved meat; 34 pounds of Pearl Barley; 20 pounds of tea; 20 pounds of tea; 14 pounds of sago; 10 ounces of ginger; 37 pounds of rice; 52 pounds of sugar; 27 bottles of lemon juice.

Folios 3-4: John Hunt, aged 20, convict; disease or hurt, intermittent fever. Put on sick list, 2 April 1832, at sea. Recovered, 10 April 1832.
Folios 4-6: John Devit, aged 24, private of the guard, 4th Regiment; disease or hurt, lues venera. Put on sick list, 17 April 1832. Discharged 6 May 1832 to duty.
Folios 6-8: John Hunt, aged 20, convict; disease or hurt, intermittent fever. Put on sick list, 20 May 1832. Recovered, 30 May 1832.
Folios 8-10: John Kipper, aged 34, convict; disease or hurt, diarrhoea. Put on sick list, 20 June 1832. Discharged 29 June 1832.
Folios 9-13: James Smith, aged 38, convict; disease or hurt, diarrhoea. Put on sick list, 26 June 1832. Discharged 16 July 1832.
Folios 11-13: Tim McDougal, aged 24, convict; disease or hurt, diarrhoea. Put on sick list, 4 July 1832. Discharged 14 July 1832.
Folios 13-14: John Mathews, aged 30, convict; disease or hurt, symptoms of scurvy. Put on sick list, 5 August 1832. Discharged 14 July 1832.
Folio 15: a numerical abstract of the medical cases mentioned in the journal.
Folios 16-17: Surgeon's general remarks. We received 200 hundred male convicts on board at Spithead on 7 March [1832] from the York and Leviathan convict ships and sailed on 15 March but was obliged to put back because of tempestuous weather after getting some way down Channel. Sailed again on 25 March [1832] in perfect health.
