Description

2 School of Air Navigation. Formed at Cranage (UK) in October 1940 (became Central Navigation School in August 1942). Moved to Shawbury (UK) in February 1944 (became the Empire Central Navigation School in September 1944 and the Empire Air Navigation School in November 1944). Contains photographs of a runway constructed from Marsden Matting (Perforated Steel Planking). Also includes maps. With appendices
