This series contains quo warranto documents in the Palatinate of Chester, mostly relating to proceedings held as part of the Cheshire eyre carried out by Thomas Kebell and John Mordaunt as justices for Arthur Prince of Wales, son and heir of Henry VII, at Chester beginning on 29 August 1499. The other records are mostly of quo warranto proceedings in the Chester county court, mainly in the mid 14th century.
