Description

Enclosure map of Exmoor Forest, Somerset. Map covers the enclosed area only (20344.122 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows named river, watering places, post-enclosure field acreages, named footpaths or bridleways, named roads, boundary landmarks, some named enclosure allottees, Hoar Oak, named physical features. 'His Majesty's Allotment' is outlined in red. With compass indicator. Scale: 1 inch to 22 chains
