Cheshire: Birkenhead. Plan of proposed docks, showing works authorised by the first and second Acts of the Birkenhead Dock Commissioners and works now sought to be authorised by Parliament. Reference note. Scale: 1 inch to 400 feet. Compass indicator. J M Rendel, engineer.
The reference note gives the dates of the first and second Acts of Parliament as 1844 [probably the 'Birkenhead Docks Act' of that year] and 1845 [probably the 'Birkenhead Dock Act' of that year].
