Northumberland: Tynemouth. 'A Plan of Preston Park within the Lordship of Tynmouth in the County of Northumberland and Also of the Hewe or Hewe Sons and of the Ground lying between Preston Park and the Hewe, where the Ground heretofore calld New-Park containing 30 Acres (as is supposed) was situate'. Shows field names. Scale: 1 inch to about 81/4 chains. Compass star. A note at the foot of the sheets gives some acreages and refers to a grant of Preston Park, New Park and a pasture between 'the said Park' and the Heugh to Henry, Earl of Northumberland, by letters patent dated 3 May, 12 Eliz I [1570].
