'A Mapp or description of all the feild land in or neer the Dock called the Kings Yard neer unto Portsmouth through w ch the new Fortifications are drawn set [illegible] as are to be paid for coulored yellow drawn & made by Jonas Moore'. Shows strips of land, occupiers, acreage. Coloured border. Scale: 4.5 inches to 30 perches. Below title: 'Vide Entry Book H pa 180 Anno 1667'. Pencilled addition in early 20th-century hand: 'E 513'. Endorsements: title and entry book reference in manuscript (very faded); stamped '89/70'; paper label with '252'. Drawn to accompany Moore's report and survey dated 14 Dec 1667, made in pursuance of Order in Council of 22 Nov 1667 respecting the payment of compensation to owners of land spoilt by the construction of the fortifications (see entry book H: CRES 6/8, ff 178v-180).
