Hampshire: Portsmouth. Plan showing lands and houses to be purchased for the purpose of securing the docks. Certified by Thomas Ayres, Surveyor, as 'a true Coppy of Plan No 1 refer'd to in the Acc[oun]t of the Proceedings of the Commissioners for Purchasing Lands etc'. Two other plans, similarly certified, are items 4 and 5 of MPHH 1/280. The relationship of the three 'true copies' to each other and to the original is unclear; the original itself has not been traced.
