Dorset: Portland. Map of lands to be used for harbour of refuge and breakwater. Scale: 1 inch to 6 chains. Compass star. James M Rendel, engineer, and John Coode, surveyor. Annotation, signed by John White: '(A) This is the Plan marked A. mentioned in and by my agreement, and also the Bond made and executed by me and William White and Hugh Hinde my sureties this first day of February 1848'.
