Eleven sheets of the Ordnance Survey six-inch County series: (1) Yorkshire CCXLI; (2) Yorkshire CCLXVIII SE; (3) Yorkshire CCLVI; (4) Yorkshire CCLV; (5) Yorkshire CCLVII; (6) Yorkshire CCLXVIII; (7) Yorkshire CCLXIX; (8) Yorkshire CCLXVII W; (9) Yorkshire CCLXVIII S; (10) Yorkshire CCXXXVIIIA; (11) Yorkshire CCXL. The maps cover lands along the River Humber. Published 1855. MS coloured additions show foreshores leased or sold by the Crown or reserved to the Crown under the Crown Lands Act 1866: in Hull, Kilnsea (Spurn Island), Paull and Sunk Island (all in Yorkshire); and Barton upon Humber (New Holland) and Whitton (both in Lincolnshire). Note that these maps were referred to in letter to Mr E J Wilson of 5 January 1871.
