Kent: Herne Bay fishery pier at Hampton Point. (1) Part of Admiralty Chart 1607 showing the Herne Bay area, with MS additions showing a pier. (2) and (4) two sheets, each with a plan, elevation and sections of a fishery pier, showing a lighthouse at the end of the pier. Each sheet has a section of an Admiralty chart affixed at the top right-hand corner, showing in MS the position of the fishery pier, west of the main pier. Scale: 1 inch to 40 feet. Compass indicator. (4) is dated August 1865. (3) Part of an Ordnance Survey map showing the coast from Whitstable to Sandwich. (5) Admiralty Chart 1607 with an area of sea coloured to west and east of Herne Bay.
