Ordnance Survey 1:2500 County Series sheet Durham II.15 and Northumberland XCVII.6-7, 10-11 (Parts of). Map shows River Tyne and Tyneside; collieries, factories and fields to the south of the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway, Elswick and Paradise. Surveyed 1855-1858; zincographed and published 1893. MS additions show existing jetty and length of river frontage leased to Dunston Engine Works Co.
