21 items (enclosures to 2 despatches from General Sir George J Giffard GCB, DSO, ADC) extracted from ADM 199/189. Maps relating to operations in Burma (now Myanmar) and north east India (including areas now in Bangladesh): (i) 16 November 1943 to 22 June 1944 in file M/06512/45 dated 30 June 1945; and (ii) 23 June to 10 November 1944 in file M/08874/45 dated 17 September 1945). The maps also cover areas now in. Laos and the Yunnan province of China. Detailed descriptions are given at item level.
