3 items extracted from J 90/1695. Three sheets of plans and sections of mines in Axim district, Gold Coast Colony (now Ghana). (1) 'Plan showing Position of the Yerimah Mine'. Also shows native and costean pits, village, paths, a brook, nature of country. Scale: 1 inch to 20 fathoms. Compass indicator. (2) 'Izrah Mines': ground plan, and transverse and longitudinal sections, on one sheet, showing shafts, native pits, and a brook. Scale: 1 inch to 8 fathoms. Compass indicator. (3) 'Egwira Mine': ground plan, transverse and longitudinal sections, on one sheet. Shows John's shaft, old workings, Kroomen's dwellings, European offices and stores, Fuah River. Scale: 1 inch to 8 fathoms. Compass indicator. Signed by T G Sweet, 16 October 1883.
