France. Plan of Brest harbour and environs: rocks, place names. Cardinal points, oriented to east. '1590' and 'p' at lower right corner. Six small circles (five of which are numbered) are drawn at regular intervals at top; the word 'Lyeues' appears against the last circle. The provenance of this map is unknown; it may have strayed from State Papers, Foreign: France (SP 78).
