1 item extracted from HO 100/121 (folio 126). 'A New Map of Ireland... for the use of Travellers'. Reference tables to defences; and to roads, towns, etc. Title in decorative cartouche flanked by female figures, cornucopia, plough, barrels, figure-head, mast and sails, lighthouse, etc. Dedication to John Earl of Westmorland, Lord Lieutenant General and Governor-General, in a decorative cartouche flanked by Britannia and a seated female figure representing Justice, with fasces, scales and a mirror and implements of war, and surmounted by a coat-of-arms with the motto 'NE VILE FANO'. Scale: 1 inch to about 3.75 miles. MS additions of 1804 showing signal stations, sea-fencible districts, stations for gun-vessels, land defences, etc. By Alexander Taylor, Lt RE.
