Plan of Norwich, Norfolk, on two sheets, showing town buildings and streets bounded by walls and river: churches, houses, castle, market cross, pillory, city gates, 'the tower in the hospitall medowe', and bridges, in bird's-eye view. No scale shown. Cardinal points: oriented to the south. Made to show metes, bounds, and areas of sanctuary within the city; ordered by commission from the king to the mayor of Norwich dated 10 February, 3[2] Henry VIII (in same portfolio, with certificate, each one sheet), following Act of 1541 to restrict rights of sanctuary. Dimensions of sheets: 98 cm x 72 cm and 98 cm x 68 cm
