Kent: Sheerness. 3 items. (1) Plan of the fortifications, showing redoubts in course of erection. Reference table. (2) Plan of land belonging to Messrs Bristow, Gell and Bennett proposed to be purchased for the Crown. Reference tables. (3) Plan and sections of two redoubts ordered to be built 19 April 1794. Scales: (1)-(2) 1 inch to 200 feet; (3) plan 1 inch to 200 feet, section 1 inch to 20 feet. (1)-(2) Signed by W Spry, Major General Commanding RE Chatham Lines, (1) 1 July 1796 and (2) 16 April 1795. Sheet sizes between 50.5 cm x 66.5 cm and 75 cm x 58.5 cm.
