Spain: Cadiz. 'Carte De La Rade de Cadis et des Environs' (map of the1 item extracted from an unidentified parent piece now in HCA 32. roads of Cadiz and its surroundings): showing anchorages, works, and prominent landmarks. Scale: 7.8 cm to 3 nautical leagues. Compass rose. Originally filed with papers dated 1740-1750.
At the date of extraction, the parent piece bore the reference HCA/666; no record was made of the name of the ship from whose papers this map was extracted. This piece and a number of other were subsequently transferred to the series HCA 32, where they were distributed alphabetically according to the names of the ships to which the papers related. Papers originally in HCA 30/666 related to: Les Aimables Marthes, L'Ardent, Le Benjamin, La Gorgonne, Le Hector, Le Mars, La Parfitte, Providence, St Charles and St François.
