18 items extracted from AO 13/34 United States of America: Georgia. Plans of American Loyalists' estates, mainly in St Mary's, St Matthew's, St George's, Christ Church and St Andrew's parishes near Savannah. Copies of original plans made between 1738 and 1781 certified by Thomas Tucker; some or all of the copies were made by him. The original surveyors include Thomas Chisholm (1771-2), John Douglass (1771-4), Samuel Savery (1769, 1774), Jacob Lewis (1770), Henry Yonge and W G De Brahm (both 1760). Shows names of proprietors and adjacent proprietors, houses, boundary marks, acreage and measurement. Scale: 20 chains to an inch. Most of the scales are represented by a ruler surmounted by dividers. Compass roses or indicators. Each rose is carefully drawn and colourful with a face or decoration at the centre.
