Chart of the confluence of the Ashley and Cooper Rivers, showing Charleston (now in South Carolina) on its original site on the west bank of the Ashley River. Place names, plantations and notes on the country are also shown. Reference table to proprietors and acreage. Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile. Compass rose. An MS note on the dorse reads 'Culpeper's Draught of Ashley. Copia vera'.
