1 item extracted from J 89/20/8. Map of area around Great Salterns, Hampshire. Scale: 24 inches to 1 mile (calculated). Compass indicator. Annotated with reference to the case Tottenham v Knight, in Queen's Bench Division, 1889 T No. 1246. (Signed) 'E[...] Knight, Ja[me]s Callender, Feb[ruar]y 15/90'; these signatures witnessed by (signed) F G Allen, clerk to W J H King, solicitor, Landport; Chamberlayne Beaumont & Taylor, plaintiff's solicitor. This annotation is all in the same hand, suggesting that the map is a copy. Extracted from Queen's Bench Order of 25 February 1890 (J 89/20/8 f 29), in the above cause, empowering the plaintiffs to sign for an injunction to inhibit the defendants from trespassing upon roads coloured brown on the map.
