Description

Enclosure map of Exmoor Forest, Somerset. Map on four sheets covering the enclosed area only (20344.122 acres) and showing the land after enclosure. Also shows named river, watering places, some post-enclosure field acreages, Hoar Oak (pictorial), named footpaths or bridleways, named roads, boundary landmarks, named enclosure allottees. With border and compass indicator. Scale: 1 inch to 22 chains. Map is folded and in a case. Dimensions of maps: all maps measure 75 cm x 83 cm
