IDWO 776. Map of area now in Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Angola, Namibia. 'Map of Matabililand and adjoining territories; compiled in the Intelligence Division, War Office, 1889'. Map shows boundary between German and Portuguese spheres of influence and boundary of the British Protectorate of Bechuanaland. Overprinted additions show boundary between British and German spheres of influence (along 21°E) according to Anglo-German Agreement of 1890. J E Hawkins, October 1889. Revised June 1890.
