'Sketch of Windsor Forest beyond Ascot Heath shewing (where coloured 'Red') the ground proposed to be left open to the Heath-setters ...'. Plan of roads, plantations, Caesar's Camp, Ascot racecourse, ponds, names of owners; to show possible arrangements to be made for the prevention of forest fires. Reference table. Scale: about 1 inch to 30 chains. Compass indicator. Signed by William Menzies, deputy surveyor. Originally enclosed in letter of Francis H Seymour, Deputy Ranger, on the problem of the heath cutters, 31 March 1851.
