Plan and section of the Lynch Road (1) from Isfahan to Ahwaz and (2) from Ahwaz to Isfahan showing place names, terrain, wells and ruins. Scales: (1) 1 inch to 8 miles; (2) horizontal 1 inch to 8 miles, vertical 1 inch to 6000 feet. Compass indicator on (1). (1) drawn by Soldier Surveyor Duffedar Abdullah Tan, 31st DCO Lancers under the supervision of Lieutenant J G L Ranking, Indian Army, HM Consul and Assistant Resident, Ahwaz. (2) Copied by Tan from an original drawn by Ranking 13 March 1911. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 38 cm x 82 cm; (2) 38 cm x 1001 cm.
