Scale: 1 inch to about 42 miles (measured). Based on information from the United States Army Engineers, the United States Army Map Service, and the Japanese Ministry of Transportation; produced by General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers (SCAP), May [19]46. 2 insets: maps of the Kobe - Osaka - Kyoto and Yokohama - Tokyo - Chiba areas; scale (both insets): 1 inch to about 11.5 miles (measured).
