3 items (originally accompanying a memorandum on the value of property in Yokohama) extracted from FO 262/1251 (folios 7-9). Japan: Yokohama. 3 plans. (1) Plan of the site of the Naval Hospital, also showing a depot, a canal, roads, and the beach; scale: 1 inch to 120 feet [1:1,440]. (2) Plan of lots numbered 172-173, showing the layout of the Consulate General building, with dimensions; also showing roads and a neighbouring church; scale: 1 inch to 40 feet [1:480]. (3) Plan of the prison, showing the layout of buildings, the boundary walls, and neighbouring roads; scale: 1 inch to 40 feet [1:480]. All items endorsed with reference notes. Dimensions: (1) 39 cm x 27.5 cm; (2-3) each 27.5 cm x 39 cm. Memorandum and plans were enclosed in despatch number 1, 13 January 1916, concerning possible exchanges of land with the Japanese and the adjustment of the land leases. Additional reference notes remain with the parent document.
