1 item (originally illustrating a booklet: 'Replies of the Imperial Japanese Government to the objection of the Governments of Germany, France and Great Britain') extracted from FO 262/923 (folio 185). Japan. 'Map showing the Location of all the Kobe Hill Lots and All Other Lots in the Former Mixed Residence Quarter at Kobe which are actually held by Foreigners under Governmental Leases in perpetuity'; also showing railways and boundaries. Reference table; note explaining apparent discrepancies. Compass indicator. Map and booklet were prepared for an international tribunal of arbitration; subsequently enclosed in Foreign Office despatch number 28 to Sir Claude M MacDonald, 21 February 1905.
