Description

1 item (formerly enclosed in despatch number 4, 13 March 1905) extracted from FO 262/932 (folio 60). 'Section of Map of Main Island of Japan Showing Limits of Kobe Consular District, the Special Open Ports, Private Railways, &c': covering western Honshu, Kyushu and Shikoku; also showing southern Korea and its distance from Japan. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 52 miles (calculated). Compass indicator. Apparently produced to illustrate Diplomatic and Consular report number 3387: 'Trade of Kobe and Osaka for the year 1904', published by the Foreign Office, June 1905.
