'Chart of Japan, shewing the position of the lights ': map showing navigational lights; also showing rivers, towns, boundaries, offshore islands, etc; including Formosa (now Taiwan). Reference table; key to fixed and revolving lights. Scale: 1 inch to about 60 miles (calculated). Compass indicator. 2 insets: 'Chart of the Inland Sea'; 'Chart of the Kurile [Kuril] Islands [now part of the Russian Federation]'. Originally produced to illustrate: ' List of the Japanese Lighthouses, Lightships, Buoys and Beacons ...', issued by the lighthouse Bureau, Department of Communications, Yokohama, 1901.
